Baba Nissim, from the family bakery, is much more than a restaurant – it’s a table of warm food and a gathering filled with nostalgia. In the 1970s, Grandpa Shalom Elbaz opened a meat and shawarma restaurant in Herzliya, famous for its unique flavors, attracting guests from all over Israel to a place that felt like home for everyone. The restaurant is no longer here, but the memories and tastes remain. The secret seasonings were passed down to his eldest grandson, Nissim, who decided to revive the tradition.
