Interbelic by Zexe was born from a true craving: to give Romanian taste the place it truly deserves. It’s not just about food, but about an entire world where past and present sit at the same table, sharing stories over clinking glasses. We draw inspiration from the refinement of interwar Ploiești, from inherited recipes, and from the courage to reinvent them without losing their soul. Here, every plate tells a story—some forgotten, some rediscovered—all brought to light by the hands and imagination of our chefs.
