About Us
Vanya Bistro Restaurant is located on the waterfront in the lower city of Haifa, with a view of the sea on one side, and the bustling urban noise on the other. Between mooring ships and passing trains to the magical streets of the lower city, the changing pace of the surroundings allows you to stop for a good dinner, sit down to read a book outside over cold beer and light food in the evening, or continue into the night with a variety of dishes and happy and lively drinks. The restaurant is another step in creating a sensual organic fabric, which connects the old Haifa tradition of the sailors together with the new generation that is developing in the lower city. The food is influenced by the cuisine of the Mediterranean basin, from that of the south of France to the Palestinian cuisine of Wadi Nisnas. We have fresh seafood, sheep from the Galilee, olive oil from the slopes of the Carmel and an endless abundance of fresh herbs, vegetables and fruits. We strive to connect them together with Gafni Hagalil to create a homely and complete experience for the people of Haifa and the surrounding area. All food construction is based on fresh and quality raw materials. Along with meats, fish and seafood, the menu also includes a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The rich drinks menu includes boutique wines from the Galilee and the valley alongside wines from different corners of the world and unique beers. The specials change on a weekly basis, so each time you will find a new and creative dish. The restaurant hosts various cultural, artistic and culinary events, making the restaurant one of the leading and most interesting in the northern region.
